Admissions

The procedure is confidential and straightforward.

You will receive a cordial welcome when you are admitted to our clinic for treatment. Although admissions must be booked in advance, in most events we can assist with a new admission within a day of placing the booking.

Health professionals, family, friends and even the clients themselves can give referrals with the assurance that they will be accepted. We'll make sure that our employees are ready to welcome you as soon as the booking has been confirmed.

We'll introduce you to the clinical team on arriving at our clinic and will show you around so that you can acquaint yourself with the layout of the facility. We will provide you a welcome pack that will explain all that is necessary for you to know about your stay with us at the Sanctuary Lodge, along with a schedule of therapy sessions. Please call us when you cannot travel to our clinic on your own.

When You Get Admitted - Your First Day

Our specialist psychiatrist who is skilled in detox will provide a consultation to you during the first 24 hours upon admission.

Your medical and psychological treatment needs will be assessed during this first and important step. If needed, a complete detox procedure will be recommended. This detoxification will then be directed and supervised under rigid official procedures by our healthcare experts.

It's important to note that you have to take with you any prescribed medications you have been taking, and also provide us any information regarding any recent surgery.

The psychiatrist will provide you with recommendations and emphasize any areas of your treatment that need specialist attention. It is very crucial for us to address all your treatment needs during your admission; thus, we'll make sure that any aspect which has been stressed or suggested is included in your personalised treatment programme. We will ensure that you are getting the highest standard care at any time and your treatment plan will then be constantly evaluated by our clinical director, counsellors and clinical personnel.

Our friendly staff will then help you settle in once your assessment has been completed. We completely comprehend that this can be a really worrying and distressing moment for many, but our dedicated team are available to give support and guidance always.
